Perhaps editors who don’t know After Effects at all. ![]() Perhaps even editors who aren’t very confident with After Effects and Dynamic Link. A little time went by and I delighted in my stroke of genius that was saving me time on every edit that required a write-on text effect (which is surprisingly often!) and then I had another epiphany - if I am wondering how to do this directly in Premiere Pro, then surely other editors are too. So I decided to make a simple Motion Graphics Template in After Effects, just for my own use, so I could easily make and edit write-on text directly in Premiere. So you can understand my confusion when there was no easy way to replicate that in Premiere Pro.įor a while I would just create my write-on text in After Effects and bring it into a Premiere Project via dynamic link, but that was somewhat cumbersome to have to go back and forth between programs - even when the updates were instant - nothing beats doing it all in one app. Hop over to After Effects and it’s a breeze, there’s even an animation preset for it already made. Have you tried creating a simple typewriter effect in Premiere Pro? I have.
